There’s a part of this design I just can’t seem to complete, but the best thing to do is leave it and run head first to the next project.
Paintings are always connected to the one you just stepped away from.
There might be something you discover on the next project that will inform the current one.
When you look at it that way, you could say the artist is creating a single work that takes a lifetime.

この絵は、描き切れない部分があるんだけども
それは残しておいて次のにぶつけたほうがいいんです。
いつも、絵は、前の絵をやめたことがかかわっています。
次の絵で発見した要素をまた前の絵に戻って描き加えたりすることもあるかもしれない。
そう考えると、一生に一枚の絵を、画家は描いているのかもしれないですね。
