I became an underwater photographer when I fell in love with the beauty of the ocean. It’s beauty struck me before anything else. I had no interest in anything scientific like fish ecology. When you fall for a woman, you don’t sit there first and count how many bones she has in her body or teeth in her mouth. Those technical things don’t matter.
