Translator’s Note: The following quote is, in my opinion, horribly sexist. I considered skipping it but ultimately decided to post it because it is included in the journal.

Women tend to get close to people who they share similar problems and situations with. When their circumstances change, these connections die. But when a boy decides he’s going to be close to one of his male friends until they’re old men, they’ll never stop being friends. There aren’t many women like that.
