A 5th grader who loves school shows up super early in the morning. The principle, standing at the front entrance, tells him to come to school a little bit later. So the kid decides to show up late for the first time in his life. He leaves his house for school as usual, but heeding the principle’s words, he thinks to himself:
“This is the late day I’ve been planning since the beginning of 4th grade. I’m so nervous! Well, the principle did get mad when I showed up early… so this is what has to be done.”
Is tardiness really something you can plan out like that?

学校が大好きで、毎朝早く登校しすぎて、校門に立っている校長先生に
「もう少しゆっくり登校してきてください」と言われる、小５の息子。
そんな彼が、人生初の遅刻。いつも通りに家を出たはずなのに、と思いつつ、話をきくと
「僕ね、小４の１学期から計画してた遅刻なんだ。もうねぇ、朝からわくわくしてさぁ。ま、先生にはすごく怒られたけどね」
遅刻って、そんな風に計画するものでしたっけ？
